Neil Sullivan Bio

Neil has deep roots in Mendham Borough, where his family first settled in the mid-1990s. He and his wife Maureen have called Mendham home since 2012, raising their three children—currently in the Borough’s public school system—along with their adopted dog, Rex.

A graduate of Lafayette College with a B.A. in Mathematics & Economics, Neil also holds an MBA in Finance from Seton Hall University. His 20+ year career in corporate finance includes Big 4 accounting and over a decade of leadership roles at a Fortune 50 company.

Neil’s commitment to public service began shortly after moving to Mendham, serving as a Borough Councilman since 2022, Past President and member of the Pastime Club, Little League and Rec Basketball coach, Cub Scout leader, and active participant on various boards and committees, including the Joint Land Use Board and the Economic Development Committee.

If re-elected, Neil’s priorities include maintaining fiscal discipline while delivering high-quality services, supporting small businesses and the Historic Business District, investing in recreation and open space, and opposing high-density overdevelopment. Guided by principles of fiscal responsibility, individual liberty, and local control, Neil is dedicated to protecting Mendham’scharacter while fostering a safe, vibrant, and welcoming community.
